A few years ago, a news story was aired
that a kid, near my home, had been bit by a bear.
Two days later we learned that the parents had planned
to photo the bear eating from the kids hand.

Timely.
yes, bad.
But still, I love that at least you're from somewhere that still has bears. I grew up with them eating our garbage, and now I live where the biggest creature is a deer or raccoon. Safer, but not the same.
